numerical methods redux

well as you all know, i failed numerical methods in fall'05, and because it's a core course i definitely have to re-take, not to mention that i'm on questionable academic standing. well, i just noticed a schedule of courses book laying around the lab and looked up who was teaching the course next fall'06. it turns out that it's being taught by a different professor than the one who taught it previously! even better, it's being taught by a prof i like and can talk to.
