Morning Commute

This is the upper level of Metro Center which is where I catch the Red line train to Bethesda.   Downstairs the Blue and Orange line trains come into the station.  I also included a shot inside the car I'm in on the Red line train.

I got lucky and as my train was coming in another was leaving and there's a cool effect from the incoming trains headlights that make the leaving train look as though its going to warp.   :D

Day out with the boys

I went for a long walk with Brian, Vincent, and Fredo today.  We started in Chinatown and walked down to the Albert Einstein Memorial (thanks for bringing it to my attention, Ed!) And then up to Washington Deli at Foggy Bottom and then over to Farragut West, then I came home.    It was a great day to be out even though it initially seemed too cold.

National Building Museum or someat

Brian and I went to the National Building Museum (or whatever its called) to see the Green Exhibit.  Its an impressive building inside and beautiful.  There was some gathering of children there for some reason, they must have been plotting our downfall.
