Haircut!

Another haircut. Have to look nice for my new job on Monday :)

Apparently someone plowed into it last night. This is along washington
blvd in clarendon.

And the sun sets..

..on the day I've been fired. According to everyone involved its a
friendly seperation, which is fine with me. Left early and am walking
through neighborhoods I haven't been in before around my house to center
myself and think.

This particular job sufficed to get me out of the crazy ex-housemate
house and into a cheaper and better house. Its also located in a better
place for my tastes.

So, the job I didn't care for got me into a better living situation.
Now the logic (?) goes that I'll find a better job match and finally be
at the mere 'normal' level of lifes enjoyment. Wishful thinking, I'm
sure, but its good for now.

So what jobs might I be interested in and suited for?
Bike messenger? ( I do love my bike )
Programmer of some kind? ( I like the logic and it seems a pretty
solitary occupation, being mental )
Network engineer? ( oddly this is still interesting to me. I should
probably clarify, WAN engineer )
Some kind of research or *gasp* bioinformatics job? ( wouldn't that
just be icing on this cake? )

body sizes

I've been trying to find black t-shirts and shorts for a couple weeks and Macy's (my closest department store) is really not coming through. I decided to just order from Old Navy and I measured my chest to know what size shirt to order. Well, as I suspected, I'm between sizes. My chest is 46-47". Their range for Large tops out at 46" and XLarge starts at 48", of course. I also suspect my inseam is 31" and not 32" as 32" legs always seem to bunch too much around my ankles.

I either need to be a little bit bigger or a little bit smaller. Which is funny because this week is going to be a diet week.

Monday checkin

Just some pics to start october off. This is the first day in 3 weeks
that I've really liked the length of my hair. I think I'll keep the
length on top and get the rest shorter as its starting to hit the top of
my ears. I'm so glad someone developed hair paste, it only takes a
small fingertip-ful (sp?) to get the hair up and held all day.
