I was hanging out online in some undisclosed location when someone linked to a video by Bo. I watched it, thought it was hilarious, looked at his profile and watched 2 more videos and thought those were equally hilarious. :) it seems that Bo rules!

could this be real?
i really can't tell if this is some impromptu comedy or if it's just a guy that really needs some medication.

wow, dinner was great!
this past weekend I kind of had a rebellion against myself. I was tired of always doing the same things on saturday and sunday in such a regimented fashion. clean on saturday, do any necessary shopping (for containers etc), buy groceries sunday morning, then brunch later. it doesn't sound terrible and it wasn't but it was repetitive after several weeks and I was feeling hemmed in by it.
so i decided to rebel and set my mind to doing things organically, as they came up and as i wanted to pay attention to them. much to my surprise i not only accomplished everything i usually did over a weekend but i even got more done by finishing unpacking and cleaning the apt. now i feel settled in and have new space to figure out what to do with.
so, that brings me to dinner tonight. i walked to the grocery store instead of riding my bike, and did it after brunch instead of before. i didn't go with too much of a set list but i did get essentials. it turns out that, quite organically, i came to a delicious dinner menu.
1 cut carrot
1 turkey, cheese, wasabi mayonnaise, mustard panini
1 heirloom tomato (IT WAS VERY DELICIOUS! i can't stress enough how good this tomato tasted.)
3 forkfuls of curried chicken salad (from whole foods deli, half pound portion)
8 strawberries
1 bowl of grapes
it's a flavorful and satisfying dinner. the fruit after the wasabi and curry is great. i never thought to serve fruit as a counterpoint to curry or spicey (instead of including with it, say in the form of raisins). i'm beginning to think that a fruit course during dinner is a necessity, instead of just using it as a dessert.

um...this is news?
if this isn't a spoof of a news clip.....get a fucking life! find some actual news to report. how about investigating military spending contrasted with public infrastructure funding? how out of touch must these douchebags (the reporter and 'sheriff') be?
Unpacking done!!
I'm finally done unpacking in the new place. I dealt with the few
remaining boxes with stuff in them and the broken down empty boxes.
Some of them went in the attic space I have access to and others went in
the basement 3 floors down. 2 boxes remain next to the bookcase because
they have items I may want at some point, but not yet, in the meantime
they'll serve as a table for the radio/stereo.

Now the only question is, what do I do with that dormer space?

A night out with the man
I had a nice night out with fredo tonight. We had dinner at a chinese
restaurant in chinatown (of all places) and then walked around to an old
post office and some reagan center place for republicans. It was pretty
because there was a courtyard and the weather was wonderful with low
humidity. Then we wandered over to the Supreme Phallus because we heard
a thumping beat. It turned out to be some country celebration, the flag
colors were green, yellow, and red. We stood in the night listening to
the music seperate from the main celebration while we talked and I spun
tales of having worshippers and a temple.

nation of whiney weak willed diaper wearing pansies?
Griffin's 'offensive' Emmy speech to be censored
quote:
The comedian's remarks were condemned Monday by Catholic League President Bill Donohue, who called them a "vulgar, in-your-face brand of hate speech."

what??? it's a hate crime to say something derogatory about someones imaginary friend???
