I've been trying to find black t-shirts and shorts for a couple weeks and Macy's (my closest department store) is really not coming through. I decided to just order from Old Navy and I measured my chest to know what size shirt to order. Well, as I suspected, I'm between sizes. My chest is 46-47". Their range for Large tops out at 46" and XLarge starts at 48", of course. I also suspect my inseam is 31" and not 32" as 32" legs always seem to bunch too much around my ankles.
I either need to be a little bit bigger or a little bit smaller. Which is funny because this week is going to be a diet week.

I don't rely on tape measures much anymore because there always seems to be a discrepancy between my measurement and the clothing label. As a result, I go to a store to try things on. The problem with that is that my sizes are hard to find; clothing stores aren't especially kind to big boys who aren't big enough for the big boy stores.
